CAR NOIR and Traci Lords!

It’s a world of dark alleys that reek of gasoline, perfume and trouble. This is the intro message to Car-Noir where you’ll find original art by James Owens, who held his SAVAGE BEAUTY gallery opening at Gasoline on April 10. Celebrities who had Noir paintings created by James, attended the opening reception of the art show (which will run until May 6).

Ken Bruen = Iggy Pop, I think not!

YOU WOULD SAY THAT, WOULDN'T YOU?

(excerpt from Paul D. Brazill's Blog)

Paul D. Brazill: If Ken Bruen is the Iggy Pop of the new crime writers who are you?

Tony Black: You're obviously not catching the Iggster's new adds for life insurance here in the UK ... man's sold out. Ken has way too much class for any of that caper, he's more a flat-out genius of the John Lennon variety ... I'd be the bloke that carries his guitar to the gigs, if I was lucky!

And if Ken Bruen is of the John Lennon variety, Tony Black is George Harrison!
