A: Well... "Accordion Crimes" (from Annie Proulx's great book) was already taken, so we moved laterally from crimes over to detective movies and then from Film Noir, to Accordion Noir.
Now, I say that the "Dark Accordion" is the accordion shaped hole in North American culture since it ditched the squeezebox in the '60's. The accordion is returning from its banishment, with revenge on it's mind. (or something.)
