2009 Anthony Award For Best Short Story Goes to Laura Lippman

Congratulations to Laura Lippman on winning the 2009 Anthony Award for Best Short Story.

The Anthony Awards are literary awards for mystery writers presented at the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention since 1986. The awards are named for Anthony Boucher (1911-1968), one of the founders of the Mystery Writers of America.  The Anthony Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the world of mystery writers.

Laura Lippman has won the award for Best Novel in 2007 (NO GOOD DEEDS) and 2004 (EVERY SECRET THING), for Best Paperback Original in 2000 (IN BIG TROUBLE) and 1999 (BUTCHER'S HILL).
